How to practice (the honest version)

Little and often wins. Ten focused minutes a day beats an hour on Sunday. Open your current lesson, hit play, and play along — the app counts you in, keeps the beat, and can slow anything down.

Loop the hard bar. Drag across any measures in the notation to select them, turn on Loop, and let the tempo slider start slow. This is how professionals practice.

Use the band. Song lessons have a 🎸 Play with the Band button — drums and bass make practicing feel like playing, because it is.

Bring questions to class. Anything that fights back during the week is exactly what class time is for.
